It was a very great American accent training program with Accent Training Resources, instructed by Roberta J. Stanwood. If you want to reduce your foreign accent, speak better like an American and even be more successful in your career, you can’t miss this chance to speak better American English. The earlier you got this training, the better you can reduce your accent and apply Roberta’s speaking strategies to you daily conversation with Americans. I remembered I was a little skeptical at beginning about what Roberta can help me to reduce my accent. However, just after a couple of sessions, I realized the training material she customized for your is very helpful. This was a one to one training. She definitely is a language professional to reduce your accent, correct your pronunciation, and teach you speak in a right way. She was very diligent and most of time she worked harder than me in training. I strongly recommend anyone who wants to reduce the foreign accent and speak better American English to attend this class. You just need to open your mind and keep practicing after class. Your American colleagues will notice your English speaking is improving and understand you better.

Even though, I’m quite a grumpy perfectionist, I’m very pleased with the progress I’ve achieved as a result of a relatively short period of time with Roberta Stanwood. There are far fewer cases when people are asking me “what’s that” or “excuse me” (even among seniors with impaired hearing). I’m already much more confident and also well-equipped with clear speaking strategies for my further improvement.

I’d like to express my excitement and gratitude about my training with Ms. Roberta Stanwood. My encounter with her training is one of the highlights in my life I choose never to forget. Her accent reduction program specifically for medical professionals worked for me: it’s simple, well structured, the rules are easy to follow and it’s easy to apply in my everyday activities. Specifically, I would like to mention Ms. Stanwood’s outstanding instructional style and her attitude. In my opinion, her program is well thought out and organized.
